How much does it cost to hire an attorney?

The most common charge is nothing unless you win. If you do win, the attorney is paid 25% of your past due benefits only. The maximum amount the attorney can receive from the case cannot exceed $5200.00. That means if your past due benefits are $5200.00, your attorney will charge you $1300.00. If you lose, the attorney is paid nothing.
