Have you already filed for Social Security Disability or SSI, but have not yet received a decision?

Be patient. Decisions from Social Security can take as long as 4 to 6 months. If your case is at the Hearings level it takes up to 9 months just to get a hearing date scheduled, and at the Appeals Council it can take between 12 and 18 months before receiving their decision.
